Big changes rarely start with a big platform. They start with a concrete problem someone decides to solve. Here we meet the people who have made their company’s knowledge easier to find, share and use.

It started
with onboarding.

“Now we use Academy for everything from procedures and product knowledge to news.”

Mikkel Glahn describes how Copenhagen Concepts gathered knowledge that used to sit with the department managers and in various folders — and what happened once it was available to everyone.

Before

Knowledge sat with the department managers and in various folders

Onboarding depended on the individual manager

Information had to be repeated by hand

After

Employees find communication, training and procedures in the same place

New employees get a more consistent start

Knowledge can be reused and updated centrally

The story behind it

How it started

Onboarding was the first thing Copenhagen Concepts put into a system. The material already existed, but it was scattered across department managers and folders only a few people knew the way to. So the first step wasn’t a platform, but a decision about what to bring together and who should write it.

How it looks today

Once the programme was running, the rest followed on its own: procedures, news and product knowledge. Employees open the platform out of habit, and managers no longer spend their time repeating the same things. What they learned here repeats itself at most of the companies we work with.

The foundation

Different challenges. The same foundation.

Academy brings communication, learning and knowledge together in one place — and makes it easier to turn information into action.
