We are often asked this question. The answer is: No, the idea behind developing Academy back in the dawn of the internet wasn’t creating another streamlined intranet solution aimed at increasing key performance among employees.
Yet, we have an Academy system today that can be used as an intranet. That is the case because several of our customers have, upon adopting Academy, expressed a wish to discontinue their traditional intranet and gather all communication activities on Academy. Because Academy is case shaped. In practice, that means that we develop new features continuously in order to meet the customer’s specific demands – in this case having the system contain and sort more information.
